Tuesday --Stormy here today, so we're sending the time getting ready (restocking, cleaning, organizing) to move tomorrow
-- hopefully all the way up to Fort Lauderdale!
I miss home so much.
Luckily,  Rick and I have been having some really good/serious conversations about this lifestyle.
As this is  NOT working for me, we're working on finding a compromise. 💗
Yup, things are always changing.
Wednesday -- We stayed on Zingara at the Pilot House Marina on Key Largo for 3 nights.  We needed to get groceries, repair a few things on the boat, do laundry.  We also were waiting for the "weather window."

The forecasted weather for Wednesday was sunny and light wind --- Perfect!
So we headed out from Key Largo to travel up to Miami.

 Just another day in paradise!
The weather was so great, and we were making excellent progress. Since the weather and the wind was in our favor, we did NOT duck into Biscayne Bay, and continued north along the coast in the Atlantic Ocean.  Because of this route, we could travel faster (no "Slow, Manatee Area"s, no "No Wake Zone"s, no bridges to hail & wait for lifts) and we could use our auto pilot.

We discovered we could make it all the way up to Fort Lauderdale, and found this fabulous anchorage just south of Fort Lauderdale, in Lake Sylvia!
Such a wonderful, productive, warm, sunny and LONG day!
