19-02-24 Sunday leaving Boot Harbor, Marathon Key
Ok - so, we were up on the Flying Bridge, enjoying another day in paradise!
Then, the wind shifted (maybe?), or something, and the waves started to get bad.
I had to go below to start stowing things --> Coffee maker and toaster in the sink, Fruit bowl in the microwave, plates in the oven -- check the bathrooms for shampoo, etc. --- all as the boat is rocking and rolling. I only could use one hand, as the other hand had to hold onto the boat to steady myself. Meanwhile, Rick's coffee cup fell and broke (it was still up on the bridge), making a huge mess. OK, try to clean that up! UGH!

Anyway, we got the coffee and the broken cup cleaned up, and then I went down below, to sit in my corner, and try not to puke.
I'll send you a video.
I still can't figure out how/why people think this is fun ....

I certainly hoped it was not like this for the whole trip!
Unfortunately, it was.
We had left Marathon around 8:30 am, to get to Key Largo, in time for the Michigan/ Michigan State basketball game, that started at 3:45.
We got there and were anchored by 3:30.
