Another view of the pool and hot tub . OH!   Here she is!  Amongst all the big boats. January 28th -- Here are a couple of pictures, after 3+days of rain! Fabulous sunset view! So, now the plan is:  As  we need to meet with John Shanahan, and a couple of friends from Michigan, on Saturday, we'll stay here until (Super Bowl) Sunday.  We'll travel back up the St. John River, towards the Timucuan Preserve,  then cut south to Jacksonville Beach.   Then on to St. Augustin.

We left Jekyll Island with great memories, and proceeded down the IntraCoastal.  We ended up docking at Amelia Island Marina. After an unexciting borrowed-car trip to Fernandina Beach for Happy Hour, we spent a quiet evening on Zingara. We got up early, and continued down to Jacksonville!  Finally!   We'll be staying here for a week.  Rick wants to do some painting and varnishing, plus we need to have the propeller replaced.   Also, we heard that this mariana is supposed to be one of the best --- with a swimming pool, etc.  This sounds so great!  Can't wait! 19-01-10,11th Jekyll Island to Amelia Island

We really liked Jekyll Island, and our marina, so we stayed another day/night.  Rick got in "a real" bike ride, moving our bicycle down from the flying bridge, so that he could use it. Here's a picture of Rick (from Tuesday, Jan. 8th that I forgot to post) riding the bike up on the flying bridge. It was such a beautiful day, --- I decided that it was a great day for a walk to the grocery store "downtown". Wow!  It was so amazing!  I wish my trip to the Milford Kroger Store looked like this. What a wonderful Mall! The mall's east end was the beach ---> where I meet Rick, at his half-way point around the Island. (I thought I took his picture, but I guess not). Looks just like Lake Michigan to me! We enjoyed another marvelous Happy Hour at Zachry's,   Zachry's is that white building beyond the marsh grass did a little exploring,  footprints in the sand, along side the mussel beds returned to our boat,  a...
