Sunday, September 24, 2017 Castles!

ANOTHER spectacular Sunday!
We left Alexandria Bay, after filling up with (less-expensive US) diesel,  and headed northeast towards Brockville, Ontario.
Check out the castles just outside of Alexandria Bay!  Most people have to pay for a boat tour to see them, but we used Zingara instead!

The Singer (as in the sewing machine company) Castle
Also, along our way, there where so many quaint, unique, houses ... here's a couple of examples:

And all I had to do was look up from my book, while taking in the scenery, from up top on the Flying Bridge!
I LOVE a lazy Sunday!
We continued on through our first commercial lock (out of 6 or 7), the Iroquois Lock, and docked for the night at the Crysler Park Marina on the Canadian shore.  We should have listened to the other boaters and forego the food at the "Marker 72's BBQ and Patio" --- I should have made dinner on the boat!   Lesson learned!
