September 22, Friday Last of the Locks
Wahoo! Our Last days of Locks (for a while, at least!) lock #6 – 4,
and finally -- Number 1!
Andre, Brigitte, and Eve were meeting friends in the Prince Edward County, Ontario, so we said our good byes and well wishes, knowing that we will be able to stay in touch through FaceBook.
From the Trenton Lock and lift-bridges, we still had to travel several hours, getting into Kingston at around 6:30. We were surprised as the sun was setting, until we remembered that we are further north and east than we’re used to. Duh!
But, we made it to the marina, tied up and plugged in, then went out to find the Kingston Brewing Company.
