Happy Father’s Day!
I pampered Rick with eggs/sausage and toast for breakfast – I can do that easily when we’re “plugged in” to shore power. Rick got to talk with both boys (sons Patrick & Alex), and we left Zingara in the big Sheraton/Bayfront Convention Center to check out the town.
We walked 8+ blocks to a microbrewery, but it wasn't very exciting, neither the beer nor the atmosphere. So we started walking back to the boat. As we could see storm-clouds coming, we ran/sprinted 4 blocks, and almost made it into a very fun Tap Room, but alas, we were dripping wet as we opened the Pub's door. Luckily, the place had a few Oumeraug beers on Tap, and great sandwiches. We couldn't have picked a better place to wait out the storm. Cheers!
